Financial Analyst

Work with the finance team and other business partners to maintain accurate financial data and prepare monthly reporting and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the fixed assets movements. Assets tagging, and assets register maintenance, record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in ERP, and complete any related journal entries. And monitor periodic asset cycle counts progress and report accordingly.
• Monitor and review capital projects, including plans and progress in coordinate with engineering, and track project costs, and place in service competed projects. Create project numbers and assign budget.

• Compile and analyze financial transactions and other accounting data in ERP systems.  prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. ensure transactions and balances are accurate, and ensure adjustments or corrections are made as needed. Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and supplemental schedules for reporting to Corporate.

• Support Finance and other business partner with general reporting and adhoc requirements. Analyze transactions to identify any significant discrepancies.  Ensure that adjustments and corrections are made as needed and in a timely basis for accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related business degree
• 1-5 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment using SAP.
• Knowledge and ability to apply generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Ability to interpret statistical data and trends and the ability to prepare charts, graphs and tables using word, power point, or excel
• Demonstrate computer skills in MS Office MS Outlook, SAP and MS Access, and power PI
• Demonstrate Planning & Organization skills, clear & concise communication skills
